On Sunday, August 11, some of us will be camping at Fort Stevens State Park in Hammond, Oregon, while others will remain in town. You are invited to attend either Gathering...
10:00 am Gathering @Fort Stevens site N-51. Bring your own chairs. A potluck lunch in site N-51 happens after the Gathering (around 11:30 am) before most head home. Bring food to share and your own beverages, plates, napkins and utensils.
10:00 am Gathering @Temple Baptist. Those staying in town will also experience a more casual Gathering, minus sand in their shoes. Happens in the coffee cart area with hymn singing and Pastor John preaching. No Kid City or childcare.
We’ll head to nearby Holladay Park (NE 11th & Multnomah) after church on June 23. Bring your own lunch, beverage and chair plus a dessert to share. We're bringing the corn hole but for those who crave more action, consider bringing games, balls, mitts and Frisbees. The splash pad should be operating so dress wisely.
For families with children 4th grade and younger. Fusion kids (grades 5-12) are encourage to volunteer to help run the activities
Drop Off: Please drop your children off at the back parking lot entrance (NE 6th & Wasco) between 5:15-5:30 pm. Doors will be locked and inaccessible after 5:30 pm.
Pick Up: At the same door, between 7:30-7:45 pm.
Cost: It's FREE! We just require you to register by May 1.
Guests: Kid City children may bring their friends, but they must also be registered by May 1.
Food: Please feed your children before drop off.

Kid City, Fusion and their families are teaming up to serve R2D2 (Right to Dream Too) neighbors in need by collecting toiletry and snack items to deliver on Saturday, February 16.
You’ll find a list of needed items at the foyer display. Please sign up for items you will donate, purchase them, then drop them off at the display by Sunday, February 10. Kid City and Fusion families will assemble care packages, write personal notes of encouragement, and deliver them to R2D2.
For 20 years, Vietnamese Hope Baptist Church met in our building and treated us to delicious eggrolls. Now they have their own building in southeast Portland, yet they continue to bless us! After the Gathering, stop by the Coffee Area and pick up some eggrolls and sign the thank-you card!
